Circuit Cycle & Sports, located at 5008-51 Avenue, Millet, Alberta, sadly became the victim of a crime on the evening of Sunday, December 10th, 2023. A break, enter, and theft incident occurred at approximately 9:20 PM, causing significant damage and leading to the loss of valuable inventory.

Culprits forcefully entered the business premises by smashing the front glass door, gaining unauthorized entry to the store. The perpetrators successfully absconded with a Genesis Model E-300 Electric Fat Bike valued at $3000.00 before owner Brian Hahn arrived at 9:25 PM and contacted emergency services.

Regrettably, the criminals managed to leave the scene before the authorities were notified. The electric bicycle stolen was a notable piece of inventory, which has been an unfortunate blow to the business. Circuit Cycle & Sports hereby extends its gratitude to the Millet community for any assistance they can provide in the apprehension of the culprits or the recovery of the stolen bicycle.

The incident resulted in property damage estimated at $1100.00 and a total inventory loss of $3000.00. This crime has occurred just two days following a break-in at the Millet Fas Gas, highlighting the immediate need for increased police presence and vigilance and security measures by businesses in the area.

Brian Hahn, the owner of Circuit Cycle & Sports, expressed his frustration with the recent burglary: “We are deeply saddened by this incident and the impact it has had on our business. We are committed to working with local authorities to identify those responsible and prevent future incidents. We urge anyone with knowledge or information about this crime to come forward and contact the Wetaskiwin RCMP. Circuit Cycle & Sports appreciates the ongoing support of the community during this challenging time. The safety and security of its customers and business partners remain top priorities. The company encourages anyone with information related to the incident to report it to the Wetaskiwin RCMP Detachment.”
